DESCRIPTION

Undecavertol is one of the most elegant and recognizable green molecules in modern perfumery. Developed by Givaudan during research into the odoriferous components of lily of the valley, it is now considered a key raw material for the construction of contemporary green, floral, and fruity accords.

Its olfactory profile is characterized by an extraordinary combination of green-floral facets, violet leaf, lily of the valley, and linden blossom, accompanied by juicy fruity accents reminiscent of kiwi, green pear, and fresh exotic fruits. This unique duality between green and fruity makes Undecavertol a distinctive molecule, capable of bringing both freshness and naturalness to a composition.

Thanks to its high diffusivity and its ability to amplify the perception of freshness and juiciness, it finds application across numerous olfactory families, from transparent floral compositions to modern fruity and aquatic accords. Although relatively easy to incorporate into formulas, it requires careful dosing due to its remarkable olfactory strength.

PERFUMERY

In perfumery, Undecavertol is mainly used to introduce a green, floral, and juicy facet, capable of making compositions more luminous, natural, and three-dimensional.

Its strength lies in its ability to recreate the freshness of green leaves and freshly picked petals, while simultaneously introducing a fruity component that enhances the realism of the composition. This characteristic makes it particularly valuable in the construction of lily of the valley, violet leaf, pear, kiwi, and modern floral bouquet accords.

From a formulation perspective, it shows excellent affinity with Hedione®, rose, lily of the valley, peony, ionones, modern aldehydes, and white musks, helping to improve the diffusion, brightness, and naturalness of an accord. It is also a particularly effective raw material for amplifying the juicy component of fruity compositions, especially in pear, green fig, and aquatic fruit accords.

Used in traces or at low dosages, it is capable of profoundly transforming a composition, giving it a more contemporary, fresh, and vibrant character.
