Synonyms: Evernyl, Methyl Atratate, Mousse Metra
Origin: Aromatic synthesis
DESCRIPTION
Veramoss® is an aromatic molecule developed to reproduce the chypre, musky, and slightly green profile of traditional oakmoss, in a cleaner, more stable version compliant with modern regulations.
Its aroma is earthy, woody, and damp, with green, ambery, and musky nuances that evoke the forest floor and the classic structure of chypre perfumery.
Thanks to its controlled composition, Veramoss® allows the reconstruction of chypre and fougère accords with greater safety and formulation flexibility.
It is an essential raw material in both contemporary perfumery and scented cosmetics, where it provides depth, character, and olfactory continuity.
PERFUMERY
In perfumery, Veramoss® is a base note used to structure chypre, fougère, and classic woody accords. Its green-earthy, musky profile gives solidity, depth, and a sense of naturalness to the base of the composition.
It is particularly suitable in combination with bergamot, labdanum, patchouli, vetiver, rose, and aldehydes, where it reconstructs the chypre architecture in a modern and balanced way.
Veramoss® is ideal for elegant, structured, and timeless fragrances, whether in classical interpretations or contemporary reinterpretations.

COSMETICS
In cosmetics, Veramoss® is used as a fragrance ingredient to impart a green, musky, and sophisticated note to products. Its olfactory profile gives formulations a sense of depth and elegant cleanliness, enhancing the overall perceived quality of the product.
It is suitable for creams, lotions, cleansers, shampoos, and body care products, especially in men’s, unisex, or classic-inspired lines.
Thanks to its stability, it maintains its olfactory character even in complex cosmetic bases.
