DESCRIPTION

Sulfurol is an aromatic molecule appreciated for its distinctive milk, milk cream, and soft caramel profile, capable of bringing an exceptionally realistic gourmand dimension to compositions.

Its aroma immediately evokes the sweetness of sweetened milk, creamy toffee, and cooked dairy preparations, with a rich and velvety olfactory texture. Unlike classic vanillic notes, Sulfurol introduces a more lactonic and creamy component, helping to add depth and naturalness to gourmand accords.

Thanks to its high potency and its ability to significantly modify the texture of a fragrance even at low dosages, it is now a key raw material in the construction of milk, cream, caramel, dessert, and modern gourmand accords.

PERFUMERY

In perfumery, Sulfurol is mainly used to build and enrich lactonic and gourmand accords, introducing a creamy facet that is difficult to achieve using only vanillins or traditional lactones.

Its strength lies in its ability to make a composition softer and more appetizing, enhancing the perception of creaminess and olfactory density. Even in small amounts, it can transform a simple gourmand accord into a richer and more realistic structure.

From a formulation perspective, it shows particular affinity with Ethyl Maltol, Vanillin, Ethyl Vanillin, Coumarin, lactones, and praline notes, helping create accords that evoke condensed milk, soft caramel, pastry cream, and modern desserts. It can be used both as a characterizing material and as a texture modifier to increase roundness and olfactory comfort.
