DESCRIPTION

Natural Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol is one of the most important and versatile natural isolates in modern perfumery. Naturally present in the essential oils and absolutes of numerous flowers, particularly rose, jasmine, neroli, and ylang ylang, it is one of the fundamental molecules used in the reconstruction of the rose note.

Its olfactory profile is characterised by a delicate and refined fresh rose note, enriched with honeyed, green, and subtly spicy facets, offering a clean, luminous, and remarkably natural character. Unlike more intense floral reconstructions, Phenylethyl Alcohol imparts transparency and authenticity, evoking the scent of freshly picked rose petals rather than that of an opulent rose.

Thanks to its exceptional versatility and its seamless integration with a wide range of natural and synthetic raw materials, it is regarded as an indispensable ingredient in every perfumer's palette.

PERFUMERY

In perfumery, Natural Phenylethyl Alcohol is primarily used to create floral, rosy, fresh, and natural accords, to which it brings elegance, transparency, and realism.

Its greatest quality lies in its ability to reproduce the freshness of natural rose without becoming excessively sweet or opulent. Incorporated into a formulation, it helps soften the transitions between different raw materials, bringing fluidity and harmony to the entire floral accord.

From a formulation perspective, it shows excellent affinity with Rose Absolute, Hedione®, Ionones, Jasmine, white musks, and citrus oils, contributing to the creation of rose accords, floral bouquets, lily of the valley, peony, tea, aldehydic, and contemporary natural compositions.

It can be used both as a structural component and as an olfactory texture modifier, enhancing the naturalness of floral notes while increasing the roundness of the composition. Its excellent stability and discreet yet long-lasting profile make it one of the most widely used ingredients in fine fragrance.
